GENERAL INFORMATION
RE: REFURBISHMENTS OF ROOMS @ HOTEL ISTANA, KUALA LUMPUR - MALAYSIA

Description:
With effect from 05 April 2006 until 20 May 2006, the hotel is upgrading 117 rooms of level 11-14 & 20,
consisting of Deluxe, Club rooms & suites.
New features in the rooms will include new carpeting, all new furnishings, new beds, new wallpaper,
new luxurious duvets & pillows, bathroom facelift, digital bedside control, high speed internet
broadband connectivity.

Other upgrades are:
- Food & Beverage outlet known as Ristorante Bologna = expected to be completed by mid July 2006.
- Upgrading of ballroom toilets = expected to complete by mid April 2006.
- Fitness center revamp = expected to re-open in June 2006.
- installation of CCTV for enhanced security & safety = final stages already.
- cabelling works are on going to facilitate installations of approx 88 units of new & high resolution
CCTV cameras. The whole process is expected to complete by 15 May 2006.

Refurbishment operating hours: 0900 - 1800 hrs, 7 days a week.

-The full amount will be charged at the moment of confirmation.

Cancellation Policy:
- Low Season: 1 night charge if cancelled within 72 hours.
- High Season: 1 night charge if cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival.
- 3 night charge if cancelled within 14 days to arrival or no show.

Children Policy:
- No charge on room for a max. of 01 child below 12 years sharing the same room as 02 paying Adults on existing bedding. Child ABF is not inclusive.
Request for extra bed is subject to availability. A max of 01 extra bed can be
accommodated in a room. All rooms from hotels in Malaysia comes with attached bathroom.

General Terms & Conditions

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.

Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.

Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).

Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.

Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.
Please check the specific terms & conditions for each hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.

Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.

Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.

Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.

General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
