Overview

We combined the scenic nature trails of UNESCO World Heritage Site Kinabalu Park with a treetop adventure taking you 40 meters above the spectacular wilderness of Borneo’s ancient rainforest on a canopy walk in Poring Hot Springs.

On this full-day guided tour, you will drive through the picturesque countryside and stop at a local market. Enjoy the ride through the rolling hills of Kundasang, Ranau and take a soak in Poring’s well known mineral rich hot springs.

Nabalu Market is a rustic point perched on the hillside, where the local natives gather to sell local produce, fruits, home grown vegetables and handicraft souvenirs. At the viewpoint, you may see a full view of Mount Kinabalu on a good day.

Kinabalu Park
Upon arrival in Malaysia’s first ever UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kinabalu National Park, you will notice a cooling change in the air temperature. Set at 1,500m above sea level, this 754sq kilometer park features one of the Tallest Mountains in all of South East Asia as its center piece - Mount Kinabalu.

Rising at 4,095.2m with cloud-hugging peaks that shade the valleys below, the majestic mountain is certainly a sight to behold from Kinabalu National Park.

Enjoy the refreshing and cooling air as you proceed for a guided walk along the nature trails in the Botanical Garden, to learn more about the Kinabalu Park’s biological treasure trove. From carnivorous Pitcher Plants to rare Orchid species, the garden showcases a broad collection of endemic plant species found in Mount Kinabalu’s unique climatic zones.

Kundasang is a town in the district of Ranau in Sabah, where we will drive by. Spot the famous cabbage roundabout that is a landmark for the vegetable market and enjoy the scenery of the rolling hills along the bank of Kundasang Valley while we drive to Poring.

Poring Hot Spring and Nature Reserve
Take a soothing sulphur bath in the open air tubs, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens.
Your day wraps up with The Canopy Treetop Walk where you will witness the grandeur of a hundred million year old rainforest, from a 105m length walkway suspended 30 meters above ground. A 20 minutes hike is needed to reach the Canopy Walkway.
