Overview

A day trip tour to Proboscis monkeys and fireflies near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo provides a chance to spend an afternoon and evening traveling through a mangrove forest situated in Sabah. It will be departing from your hotel around one an half hours drive reach our jetty. When we arrive at the jetty, coffee/tea and local made cakes will be served. Arrive jetty, cruise along the River Cruise with mangroves on either side of the river in search of Proboscis monkeys, Macaque Long tail, Silver Leaf monkeys, birds and monitor lizards. At night amazed by Borneo’s sunset and by nightfall, be amazed by hundreds of blinking fire flies lighting the mangrove trees as Christmas trees.

What To Expect

Cocoa Kingdom KK Chocolate House
Cocoa Kingdom which was previously known as Simply Chocolate has been in Sabah for 10 years. It is located in Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu which is only 15 minutes from city centre. The place is heaven for the chocolate lovers and they have varieties of chocolate for you to choose.

You can witness how wonderful the process of making chocolate as they installed transparent glass for everyone to see. Basic ingredients and steps of processing cocoa are also put on an open space for everyone to learn.

There is a chocolate tasting to get the taste of it before you are planning to buy. If you are bringing kids, well that is even better as Cocoa Kingdom has a hall for chocolate decorating activities and you can even take away the personally decorated chocolates.

The price is reasonable and it is a place for you to visit while being in Sabah.
