Educational fun

This place is wonderful! An interactive lesson in the richness of the past, history seen through the lens of music. We had 5 children with us, between the ages of 9-12 and they all agreed it was cool and interesting and were kept engaged for a good 2 hours. It was nice to speak to them after and listen to the things that especially captured their attention. The treasure hunt in the end was genius! Thank you Penang House of Music for a great initiative.
Excellent environment with good staff that bring you back to good old time

I go with my Russian friends to this House of Music in Penang. The staffs is so nice especially Joyce(not sure spell correct or not) who introduced each section in the museum for us. And u can try all the music instruments. Good place to chill and flash back old memory. Recommended

Great experience and had some fun playing the nostalgic instruments. Not to forget they bring back some of the old memories on 50's

I went here with my mum and the place was excellent. The staff new their history and the displays were all thoroughly researched. We could take as many photos as we wanted and we learnt a lot of things about the history of music in Penang. A great place to visit for people who love music and history.
Loved it!

Awesome experience! It's not only music but you also get a sense of Malaysian history. It's interactive, you can play instruments, read books, play vinyls. Tour guide Joyce was awesome and provided a lot of information and interesting facts.
Definitely a recommendation while in George Town. Not only for music nerds. :)
