Overview

A trip to the outskirts along the ‘Ambassador Row’. Our first stop at the Royal Selangor Pewter will feature the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world, reputed internationally for its high quality and craftsmanship. You will be shown the different processes, such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving during this factory tour. Next we stop at Batik Factory – see how Batik is designed and printed.

Our last stop will be at the limestone hills of Batu Caves that comprises of three caverns and several smaller caves. It is the shrine of Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity – a flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave. Another cave, called the museum cave, is filled with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from the Hindu scriptures.

Next we stop at Batik Factory – see how Batik is designed and printed.

One stop batik handicraft centre in Kuala Lumpur. Batik demonstration at workshop everyday. Visitors are also welcomed to create their own batik masterpiece at the batik class. The retail showroom offer a great selection of Malaysian handicraft at good prices.

Visite faite en famille avec nos 2 enfants de 2 et 7 ans. Le site est magnifique et nous avons eu la chance de l'effectuer le jour de la célébration d'un mariage indien. Les tenues vestimentaires sont venues des invités sont venues s'accorder aux couleurs du site qui nous en ont mis plein la vue!
Les 272 marches ont été gravies sans difficultés par nos enfants malgré leur raideur et les peaux de bananes abandonnées par les singes qui ne sont ni agressifs ni chapardeurs si les règles sont respectées!
Évidemment qu'il existe des boutiques de souvenirs (et alors?), ce n'est absolument pas choquant et ne nous ont en rien empêchés d'apprécier ce lieu unique.
Des stands de spécialités culinaires sont également présents!
Le pays se déconfine petit à petit, certaines entrées étaient fermées, nous y retourneront !
Le site est gratuit, le parking a 2 RM.

個人的にセントラルから乗り換えなしの電車で行きました。電車のタイムスケジュールが変わったらしくかなり本数が少ないので注意です。
バトゥケイブの駅からは目の前で、階段を登って往復してお土産屋さんを回っても健康な人であれば1時間もあれば十分です。
