Lata Iskandar
Lata Iskandar is a waterfall along the trunk road from Tapah to Cameron Highlands, located about 25-km before Ringlet. The waterfall cascades over several tiers of granite slopes, with the last drop at 25 meters high flowing into a small pool below, before resuming its journey as a narrow stream. On weekends, the waterfall is overrun by tourists and local visitors.

They congregate tightly under the cold shower of the falls, or perch themselves for photos along its rocky ledges. Ramshackle shops and stalls, nestled along the main road facing Lata Iskandar, provide shopping opportunities for ethnic souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, strange herbs, tropical fruits and even aphrodisiacs.

BOH Plantations was founded in 1929 by J.A. Russel, a British businessman during the British colonial era in Malaya. He was optimistic of the tea plantation business due to huge demands despite of the world-wide Great Depression at that time. As a result of the potential, he applied for and was granted a concession of land for his first tea garden in Habu, Cameron Highlands.

BOH Tea Plantation is a must-visit place when you are in Cameron Highlands Scenic, tranquil & cool fresh air! The road journey to the BOH Tea Plantation is quite an adventure itself. Boh Tea Plantation has a total of 8000 acres planted with tea. The largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia. Road is narrow and winding. Do give a honk or two while negotiating a corner to let oncoming traffic know there is a car coming. Gets kind of fun to honk the horn after a while.

The Sg Palas 'ummph!' BOH TEA Plantation offers a FREE guided factory tour of how the tea leaf is processed. Don't forget to visit a very nice BOH TEA SHOP nearby & pamper yourself with a nice cup of tea, cakes & enjoy the enchanting ambience & view of the BOH TEA Plantation.

Amazing, different experience, the weather was wonderful. The driver was so nice and helpful, get lots of information and historical background
I recommend more days for the trip because one day is not enough, you need 3 hours driving from KL
Great tour, loved it very much

It was great tour, our driver Tina was the best driver/tour guide which I ever met. He told us so a lot of interesting information about Malaysia. His driving abilities was very professional and it was very good car with air condition. Driver always was very polite and was ready to make a stop at any time if necessary. He arrived to our hotel 10 minutes before our tour start. Cameron Highlands with it's tea plantations was super great. We were very happy with this tour, recommend to any who is interested to see nice nature of Malaysia and learn a lot of things about it's culture and people.
worth to see despite of long drive

Cameron Highlands is a fine place to see in this world, but it takes about 3 hours to reach there. For our chance it was a weekend day and was full of locals Very crowded but worth to see
Too far from KL
Oriol_M, 19-09-2022
Is a full day activity but you will spend 75% of the day inside a car or a van (very confortable by the way). Is a way to visit other parts of Malaysia for those tourists want to see more than only KL city. But definetly to far on distance and two of us were car sick because of the mountain road and speedy manner (only way to make it possible in one day) of the driver/guide (safe and professional...but speedy)
Ok

The lower rating is related to the fact that we did not stop to eat the whole day and didn’t know to bring something because there would be no place to get anything, the driver was hard to understand and not very informative, the driving was scary at times, and the car was shabby with an odor.
