I had the incredible experience of being introduced to the most delicious cuisines of Malaysia through the eyes and expertise of Pauline from Simply Enak. Not only was she knowledge on the origins of the foods, but she was passionate about finding only the best of each item across the city, including remote food stands, and hawkers markets. She is a real foodie and has a great sense of humor and passion when it comes to eating, cooking, and enjoying life! I did not feel like I was on a tour. It was like I was traveling with one of my friends and having breakfast, lunch, and dinner, over and over again,and enjoying every moment and every bite. We had many laughs and great conversations and I got to try everything on my list plus so much more! I also love the fact that whatever we could not finish she put in takeaway boxes to donate to the less fortunate. Nothing was waisted. I highly recommend this tour. I did two days with her and I will be back for more as there are so many more delicious dishes to try!

Pauline was knowledgeable and attentive to our groups needs. She showed us around Chow Kit Market and went above and beyond to learn interesting facts about the products we were most interested in. She made sure we did not go hungry and it was an excellent experience!

Real KL food tour

We met Eez and immediately connected with her fun and informative narrative on the history of KL. We walked around the locality trying everyday food eaten by locals in everyday places. We certainly wouldn’t have found these on our own, and we were made welcome at each one, clearly Eez was well liked. Visiting the markets was a highlight with the added bonus of seeing & trying new fruits and veg, and then touring the meat and fish markets. These markets showed us how the Malaysians, Indians and Chinese all live, eat and work in harmony. If discovering new foods eaten by locals is your thing then don’t miss this lively, energetic and delicious tour!

THANK YOU so much to EEZ for making our KL trip such a wonderful adventure! We experienced fascinating places like Chow Kit market and tasty local foods we likely would not have discovered on our own (such as the delicious tumeric stew and native fruits). We especially loved the Nasi Lemak restaurant and the detailed explanations about the cultural and historical significance of the sites we visited and foods we ate. A fun bonus was seeing the Chinese New Year lion dance at Petronas Twin Towers. Thank you for honoring our tour reservation despite the holiday!!
