Tour around KL

Our experience was super great! Alvin provided us with great explanations, about the history and context of the different parts of Kuala Lumpur we visited. He was very friendly and funny and always willing to answer our questions.
We strongly recommend the tour with him!

Thank you so much Alvin for your time and your knowledge!
Your friends from Barcelona! :)

A very interesting walking tour around Chinatown, the “colonial” area and Little India. Alvin was a great tour guide and was able to provide insights that would not have been possible if we’d visited these places on our own. Recommended.
Great tour, smart guide, learned a lot

We had a really good (if *hot* -- not his fault!) walking tour with Alvin from Chinatown to the Indian Brickfields neighborhood, a goodly ~5 mile walk. Alvin pointed out architectural details and history, and notable food (the mochi lady!) along the way. We saw Petaling street, Central Market, Merdeka Square, Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu temple, National Mosque (from the outside,) the Botanical Garden, train station (air con!). Alvin gave us a "goodie bag" of snacks and water that we definitely made use of during the 3.5 hours. He is smart, funny, curious and well traveled -- a great guide.

Alvin was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Walked around 12 km, as he told us, but it was slow paced so wasn't hard at all, for a couch potato. Saw a lot, learnt a lot. Only downside was that the canopy walk was closed, but not a deal breaker. Possibly because of new year dates. Also they have started charging entry for this as it was previously free, so something that could be done separately if you wanted. Recommend this tour and Alvin.
The Sights and Sounds of KL

Whenever I visit a new place, I like to experience the sights, sounds and smells by doing a walking tour. Our guide, Alvin has lived in KL for about 20 years and really shares a lot of knowledge about the history and culture of the city. Some of the places we visited included Chinatown, Central Market, Little India the National Mosque and the Botanical Gardens. If you are visiting KL for the first time or you have visited before this tour is a good introduction to the city and its people.
