Fantastic views

We were picked up from our hotel and the weather did not look good and onway to the cable car it was pouring with rain and because of the cloud we could not see the cable cars or the mountain. Whilst I doubted it, our guide was confident we would be able to go up. He said they were opening at 10.30 and at 10.30 the clouds cleared and away we went. This is an awesome attraction with fantastic views from the top with views all around the island.
Too steep but worth it

Sky bridge tour

The view at SkyBridge is amazing, but there is not much activities at the Oriental village. Go for the Express lane if you want to avoid the crowd during weekends or holidays.
More of a driver service than tour
OzScotty, 01-06-2022
It’s important to clarify first up that many of these “tours” are simply a private driver service with pleasant conversation. We had a very prompt pick up from hotel and good pre-arrival communication. The driver was safe and pleasant and took us to Dataran Lang to see the eagle statue. It was impressive. Then we went to Skycab. The driver escorted us in, organised tickets and told us what was included. The area (shops and attractions) around the cable car are pretty sad. Not sure if it has been impacted by pandemic or not but there really isn’t much to see or decent places to shop or eat.

The BIG tip is to pay the extra for fast pass/skip the line. You get off at the first and second stop so there are 3 times you will need to queue and the lines can be long. Also the enjoyment of the ride is impacted by weather so don’t go up if it’s rainy, windy or cloudy. The sky bridge was closed when we went up due to weather but we didn’t know that until we were up the mountain.
The 3D tour could be fun for kids and the sky dome digital roller coaster is a few minutes of fun.
Overall it’s worth it and convenient to have the driver. It’s just not a tour!
Go at 9am!

Someone already posted but thought I’d reiterate that this isn’t a “tour”. I was picked up in a car by a driver who spoke limited English and he took me to the entrance. He got my tickets and sent me on my way.

Going first thing in the morning was key! Less people and by the time I left, around 11 or 12, it was packed!

Glass bottom car wasn’t worth the extra money
